Kevin Mattson says the University of Maine System has been a leader in helping Maine cities and towns redevelop their downtowns.

Kevin Mattson, president of Dirigo Capital Advisors, thinks universities play a key role in the revitalization of downtown districts, and that is certainly true here at Saco Island. CLICK HERE for the video and see if you agree with him.

University College at Saco, a part of the University of Maine System, has been one of Saco Island’s best tenants for many years. Quite frankly, we think more people should know about the school and what it does.

University College provides access to many degree programs and courses from seven University of Maine System campuses, but allows students to save time and gasoline by attending classes right here in the community. It teaches class right on site, but also offers online, video-conferencing and ITV options. We plan to tell you a lot more about them in the next few months, but in the meantime, do yourself a favor and find out more by visiting their web site!

The Offices At Saco Island is a DCA project.
