News from the village we call Saco Island

In the ancient days there used to be a dividing line between Biddeford-Saco and Greater Portland. The line was probably somewhere north of Saco, in Scarborough someplace. People “up there” never came “down here.” For whatever reasons. But those days are long gone. Check out the great article in the Portland Press Herald today about the Run of the Mill Public House & Brewery. WE LIKE THIS QUOTE: “But here's the thing: We were there well over an hour, and we had a great time. We loved the atmosphere, and the service was outstanding.”

Just one of the great things about our little village. And more and more people --- from all over --- are discovering how cool Saco Island is.
